Our room was very spacious, with a good range of teas/coffees/biscuits and toiletries too (an added bonus!) The hotel was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. All the staff were very professional and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious (the shin of beef was exceptional) and reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful, with a great choice. We will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed here previously before it got renovated and always loved it, but since the renovation it’s even more impressive. It’s turned into a beautiful boutique hotel and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to see we’d been upgraded and loved our room (Joy) so much we decided to add another night! The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order (lots of options to choose from), and the little pantry to help yourself to coffee, tea and freshly baked treats was a lovely touch. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bathroom/shower was so nice. We slept like logs in the big comfy bed. The hotel is right in the middle of Burford where all the action is, but you genuinely cannot hear any noise in the room from the street. We had the best stay to celebrate our anniversary and cannot wait to go again!

We brought our little pup for his first holiday in the Cotswolds and he loved it. It was very dog friendly and it felt very relaxed with not too many restrictions. Which is nice when traveling with dog. The dog friendly bedroom was really spacious for the three of us and we loved every minute. We were made to feel at home with a very relaxing feel to the place. The town is amazing and the inn is in the best location and probably the best pub to go along with it. Will definitely be back.
