We enjoyed our overnight stay at Bogenraith House staying here as we had a wedding in Banchory. We were in the Flora McDonald room, it was a cosy room and quirky too. There were lots of extras such as a coffee maker, fruit, chocolates, prosecco, fluffy robes and slippers, which was much appreciated. Marilyn was an excellent host really friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the cooked breakfast, I had the pancakes, cream and peaches and my husband had the very large breakfast both were really tasty. We would be happy to return there for a longer stay next time.

Our room was spotless and spacious. We love being able to have the
windows open to hear the river. The view is amazing and so calming. The
grounds are immaculate and a pleasure to walk around. The staff always
goes above and beyond. The breakfast was so good and Kevin was very
attentive. Always a special treat to stay here when we visit Scotland.

It was a good location, close to shops and local restaurants. The staff were very helpful with tips for the easiest drive to our next destination. There was a problem with the first room- it had not been cleaned but the staff quickly made adjustments and provided a very nice, comfortable room.

The location, hotel and staff were amazing. Beautiful grounds, lovely decorations- perfect for a peaceful stay. Room was spacious and clean. Though some parts show their age, it adds to the charm. Great that it is a dog friendly venue, and you have an option to leave your dog in a room, if you want to go for a meal.
it’s location was perfect for a quiet beautiful break. if you have a dog as we do, then this is dog walking heaven on your doorstep. if you are a NT member then that is a bonus too to see the castle.
The lodge was spotlessly clean and cosy and provided everything you need. It is also pet friendly which allowed us to take our dog with us. A real home from home in a great location.
