The place was bigger than I expected and had all the amenities that I needed. The heating was already on when we arrived so the place was nice a warm which we were grateful for because the day was so cold! The owner left us a few little treats like fresh apple juice and some little cakes which was so thoughtful. The place was very clean and tidy and the view was amazing!

The location was great. The apartment is next to a bus stop. Since it is next to the road, it was also quite noisy. The swimming pool was clean and quiet. The beach was indeed on a 5 min walking distance.
The kitchen was well equipped, and we did not miss anything there.
We stayed at Le Palace de Menthon Hotel for 1 night on our way from Chamonix to Macon and everything was amazing!!! Very impressive hotel located right on Lac d'Annecy. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and a yummy dinner at the hotel restaurant. We had a wonderful table on the outdoor balcony. Very impressive
The hotel is located in a superb garden on the shore of the lake. The rooms have picture perfect views of lake and mountains and the spa/pool/lakeside facilities are excellent. The breakfast room has a beautiful view. It was a real pleasure to eat there. We came for a wedding held in the garden, next to the lake. The hotel staff were competent, helpful and friendly thoughout the ceremony and the evening dinner. The quality of the cocktail service and dinner catering was excellent.
The room size, balcony, and the view from the room were great. The size of the bed was huge and accommodated for our dog with no issues (as he likes to sleep with us). The hotel is just renovated and everything was new. Room service and staff were exceptionally friendly. Also, there's a ground floor that allows you to bypass the reception on the 1st floor, if you need to sneak our with a pet. The territory was great for a short walk with the dog before sleep. The nearby park (The Rock) is a good an quiet place to walk.
