The location is in a very nice place and the inside is amazing; very simple but like a little oasis in the middle of town.
Breakfast is delicious and you can mention to have dinner which is very nice.
The best part is the AC and the attention, specially our host Carolina which she keep you informed of weather, places to go, transportation and guides; and if you have pets, they treat them like another member of the family.
Lastly the hotel has a parking space, compare with others that you need to find a place to park or you have to leave it on the street.

I loved the design of the cabins specially the bathroom.
All the cabin had mosquito nets protection, so bugs were not a problem

It is close to the road that leads into the desert, so it was calm.

The owners were very nice. They gave me a better price when I decided to stay longer. The room was big, with two large windows and two fans. There was also a nice balcony outside the room.

The family that run Casa de Campo were so friendly and attentive. They made it very easy to gain information about getting to the desert and arranged affordable transport to the grey desert and Villavieja for us. It was walkable to the red desert and a short walk to the observatory. The lunch was tasty and they catered for me as a vegetarian. We would absolutely recommend this - it is decorated beautifully, very clean and there are lots of areas to relax and hammocks to chill in after your hike. They have lovely pets too!
The location is perfect to chill and visit Tatacoa desert. The owner is really friendly and cook delicious meal. The pool is great. Friendly cats and dog, buggy car to visit the desert was cool :)
The hotel is a small place on the outskirts of Villavieja. The location is good for visiting the Tatacoa Desert. The hotel offered us a guide to take us there and it was really reasonably priced and the guide was excellent.
The staff was really nice and helpful and going out of their way to accommodate us at any time. While there was no air-conditioning in our room, a fan was provided.
Hotel dog, Estrella, was super cute too.
I’m the middle of the nature with parrots and other birds, dogs and cats 😍 near the red desert and between the grey and red so this is the best place to be !

John is by far the most friendly host we’ve ever met. He responds quick, is very kind and helps to make the best out of your trip in Tatacoa. The dinner and breakfast are very tasty, the location in the desert is magic and his 2 dogs are lovely as well. In addition to this, he can arrange a guide for both the red and the grey desert and this guide is very good as well, definately don’t skip the grey part of the desert, it’s beautiful and if you are lucky like us, you can spot a lot of animals! We give John a 10+!
Seniora is very nice lady. She prepared the breakfast for the time I asked. Rooms are clean and wifi works good. The garden / patio is unreal (so beautiful!). Also the cutest dog and cats there <3
It was in a great location, the staff were very friendly and helped us navigate our activities for the desert! very cute dog called Bruno at the property! The room was spacious and clean!
The family running this property were friendly and welcoming. There is a great little troup of dogs and cats that are an absolute joy. The setting was amazing and it really feels like your glamping out in a desert. Sleeping in the small shack through a thunderstorm was quite surreal and enjoyable.
