The location was about 10 - 15 walking minutes from the train station, my room was small and you had to watch for the wooden ceiling beams, so if you are tall, ask for a room without ceiling beams. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the restaurant is great.

The Stork Room is spacious, and has a faded rustic charm.
The restaurant is pleasant, although a bit expensive for what it is. We had dinner, but not the expensive breakfast.
The hotel is owned by the ugly fake "schloss" across the road, which claims to be but is not a castle. It's a 60s or 70s block, and you check in and out and park at that hotel.

We loved the place, just 2 minutes walk from lake where you can enjoy beauty of vitznau and also swim. Jeroen is best host, they have arranged everything you can need during your stay. Spacious duplex with comfortable beds and a balcony where you can enjoy barbecue. There is also private parking. Will come back for sure.
