I absolutely loved my overnight stay at Berggasthaus Eggberge. From the moment you step into the cable car up the moment, you’re literally being transported to a more serene, more peaceful and beautiful version of the world. The views are simply stunning, the staff and owners incredibly friendly. I also highly recommend Andy’s Brew, the owners very own beer. It’s delicious:) Wish I’d stayed a few more days to explore the beautiful surroundings.

overall, you can’t beat sleeping on top of the mountain and getting to see the sunset / sunrise practically to yourself. unforgettable experience. the only complaint is bedroom 9, it has a smell / odor from the bathroom that would linger into the room. would i stay again, yes, so that wouldn’t stop me from booking. just something worth mentioning.

The location was fantastic - amazing views of mountains and lake. The care gone into making the yurt and the surrounds was lovely - a very special and unique place. The hosts were really lovely - made us feel welcome, checked in most days to see if we needed anything. It felt like they cared about hospitality rather than simply wanting to run the business side of it.

This was our second year in a row at the Seeblick hotel. We came back because we loved it so much.
It is an excellent location overlooking Lake Lucerne with beautiful vistas. Try to book a room with Lakeview and a balcony.
There are numerous cablecars that take you up to mountain tops behind Emmetten that also offer spectacular views, food, and some nice hiking.
The staff at the hotel are superb, they remembered us from last year, not sure if that’s good or bad! 🤣
Make sure to check out the exceptional indoor pool, and sauna.
