An interesting experience at an out-of-town sports hotel. Our room was in the newer building. The food we had there was good. Brig centre was about 20 minutes walk. It suited our purpose for that trip.

Hotel Victoria, hotel in Brig

The family-run Hotel Victoria is conveniently located opposite the Brig train station and offers free WiFi and panoramic views of the Valais Alps.

The hotel is right in front of the main train station (you won't miss it). The breakfast spread was good. The hotel lift is old-fashioned, which was fairly interesting to us. There are several restaurants and retail shops nearby on the same street.

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Gilbert's place! The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal—close to everything I wanted to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing. Gilbert was an exceptional host, providing thoughtful recommendations and being incredibly responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I can’t wait to return!

I really liked the 2 female personnel who appeared to be the managers. They were helpful, kind and efficient. The hotel is very clean and while it could benefit from new carpets and updating, that doesn't take away from the fact that there is obvious care in the way it is run, it is in a great location and I would stay there again very happily

Excellent location , opposite station and a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town. Good sized room with a table and chairs and kettle so ideal if you fancy eating in your room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Welcoming to my dog. Breakfast was good quality and a decent selection. ( you can have breakfast on the terrace if you are with a dog). I only stayed one night to break up a journey to italy but would like to come back and stay for longer.

    - Friendly staff. Check-in process was super complicated so we called them and they were super helpful. - Pets allowed, we were travelling with a small dog - Great location, walkable from train station, right next to the castle park. Easy to pop by the room to drop off/pick up stuff during the day. Close to the river as well. - Clean, room size comfy - Coffee machine with Caffissimo pods in the room, it was great coffee

We stayed for a night over the weekend. The location was great, and we had parking right in front of the entrance. Spotless rooms (we had 2 double rooms) and no problem with the shared bathrooms and WCs. The room was quiet, had a small sink and mirror, albeit tiny. We also had a small balcony shared with the next room offering pleasant views in the morning. Dinner at the restaurant was good, as there aren't any other options nearby. Our 2 dogs were welcomed and stayed for free.
