We liked the overall layout and design and how clean it was. The open-plan living area and kitchen made cabin felt very spacious but cozy at the same time. The high ceiling and large window made the room brighter and airy. The private bedrooms are very comfortable to relax. 2 Heat pumps provided perfect conditions for sleep. Fully equipped kitchen made this cabin home away from home.

I was very happy to stay this hostel and I felt like staying home and I think the price is very nice in Canada(I have been travelling from Alaska to Argentina with bicycle so I have stayed some hostles in north America).

The desk clerk and staff spoke very little English. There was no water as a result of water issues during the night with no warning from staff. Although the bed was comfortable, I was unable to use the shower, or toilet. The TV was very small and set too low to view.

Bill and Milly were great hosts and really made us feel at home. It was lovely to meet the dogs too! The breakfast was fantastic and they gave us some detailed guidance for local eateries and walks. Thanks to Bill's recommendations we even saw a bear catching salmon! The accommodation itself is very homely and clean. The shared bathroom was spacious and the shower pressure was good (all important after a long day on the trails!). We hope to visit again in the future.
This is a great apartment for a group or family. Lots of space and beds for everyone. We were 3 adults, 1 child and 1 dog and everyone had their own space. There is room and beds for more of course. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to shops for groceries and not far from hiking and swimming opportunities in the area. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped and clean. We would absolutely stay here again when in Port Alberni. Thank you Char!
My request for a pet friendly room, close to the main entrance was fulfilled. The air conditioner is an essential in Port Alberni. Front desk staff were friendly and accomodating.
