The breakfast was fine. It was your usual scrambled eggs, sausages, white, brown bread,
and bagels. Option to toast. The waffle maker is cool except they ran out of the spray to ensure waffles don't stick. So that was a bust.
Coffee, apple Danish and yogurt was the best part of the breakfast . Delicious coffee
We arrived around 2pm ( before normal check in)and we were given our room key. Much appreciated as I have 2 kids

Hotel 71 is an exceptional hotel to stay at. It is a 5 minute walk from the cruise terminal and a 5 minute walk to the Funiculaire-du-Vieux-Quebec ($5) which takes you up to the Hotel Frontenac. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with all the things a traveller could ask for. The reception area was warm and welcoming with coffee and a wine station. The breakfast was continental in style with a vast array of fruit and pastries to start the day. There is a luggage store to put your cases in when you arrive, and then they appear in your room as you return from exploring the city.

Location is perfect. Within walking distance of the heart of Old Quebec. I found the breakfast somewhat poor. However, the staff was excellent.

They were super friendly even though we showed up late and were very good about having a dog in the room. They aren’t kidding when they say they are pet friendly!
