It was breathtaking, the whole town!! We had a room with a balcony overlooking the most beautiful sight I've ever seen with the mountains and lake! It was October, so the fall colors were just gorgeous! The hotel was clean and modern and the staff was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel!

Staff is so mean and rude, from my experience the Austrians are so rude but the staff at this place are even worst! If you are going to work in hospitality, you should at least be nice and respectful to the guests. Even from our communication through email and phone prior to the trip, the people answering my emails and calls were so rude. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Everything was great: the location - far from the noisy city center but near enough to walk there; the staff - always smiling, ready to help; the breakfast - home made and delicious; pet friendly!
Very clean, comfortable, charming apartment in a very convenient location with short walking distance to the town and all the activities in Hallstatt - yet still a good enough distance from the tourist crowd. It was just a 2 minute walk to the bathing island at the lake. Included parking was available next to the apartment. Owners are available in the house across from the apartment, they were friendly (not hovering) and helpful with local advice. Pet friendly with no additional fee.
A wonderful (pet-friendly) hotel, with great location. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom and toilet were separate, and very clean.

The place is near to the vantage point and a bus stop going to other places.
They keep some breakfast grocery items like eggs and butter in the fridge outside the rooms where you can take and pay in cash conveniently. They also serve a basket of bread every morning if you opt in for free.
Andi manages the property very well and is really helpful from the start until the end of the stay.

Super kind stuff, really dog friendly. Great breakfast. Location of pension suited us very well - it is located on the end of village just by the woods and 5-10minutes of walk to lake and city center.
