Everything was amazing, I have been to shkoder before, but this stay at Galley completely blew me away. The staff were so amazing, really truly understand hospitality and bringing people together, they provide such an incredible social space with the garden, and encourage a friendly space where you can meet everyone in house. They take care of everything you need for your stay, airport transfer, hiking tours, river day trips, winery visits, advice on where to buy things you need. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. I will be back!

We literally loved everything about the place. The hospitality of the host is unmatched. She even went the extra mile to reserve us a parking slot (which was available by chance in the city’s busy streets), greeted us with a big smile and chocolates, and even turned the heater before we arrived to warm up the room in December’s cold weather. The room is very well furnished and has a door to a small kitchen that has all you need (there was sachets of tea and coffee, tableware and cutlery) and then another door that led to the balcony. The balcony had a very nice view of the city. The location is also central and close to a taxi stop that can get you around if you do not have a car. I totally recommend this place.

Fred and his family run a great guesthouse. You will be met with the offer of coffee each morning, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We could leave our luggage at the guesthouse whilst hiking for no extra charge. There are bikes you can hire for a half or full day. Great location, close to everything. The garden is incredible. Amazing place. Big room with a large bad and an extra twin bed inside. With a big balcony, full of flowers and a beautiful view. Every thing was very clean and new. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with organic and homemade food. Great location, parking available and an amazing garden , with flowers and fruit trees around the place that you can enjoy. Definitely coming back on this great villa.
