The rooms at the motel are fitted with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. At Palace Lodge Morningside rooms have bed linen and towels. We had a great stay and the place was good and neat
The flat was clean and well equipped. It was welcoming and well-proportioned for two people. The view over the Indian Ocean could not be beaten. Accessibility to shops and Margate/Ramsgate and related facilities was simple even though the municipality is working on the roads and there are stop-go sections with which to contend.

The breakfast was good. We missed good coffee. The restaurant meals were very good. My daughter loved the cheescake and chicken strips. The antelope close to the units were lovely. The boat trip on the lake was excellent.
The host Vimy and her husband were so friendly and waited at the gate for us. After the booking was made late at night Vimy phoned me to ask if we are ok on the road and also send me a location, they made it so easy the get there on an unfamiliar road and it made my driving experience so Mutch easier as i was not familiar with the roads. Please book your place with the hosts i am going back there to enjoy their lovely location and the surrounding areas. Thank you Vimy and husband
The place looks like motel is not the place for stay the was a bed smell inside the room I even go sleep into my car, and even the place is not safe for people to stay
We checked in early but reception was so welcoming as if they had been waiting for us. Literally everyone was exceptional from hosts to house keeping stuff. Room very clean and kept clean through out our stay. High quality clean linen and towels. Breakfast was delicious and a variety with good coffee. Located on the beach with the best views and a walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Arrived to a warm welcome and very well organised boutique guest house. Rooms were modern and clean throughout. Little sweet treats and water provided daily in the bedrooms - a lovely touch. Breakfasts were freshly made with good portion sizes, served with good coffee and a selection of juices. Staff were extremely hospitable across the whole team. The communal setting and views were amazing and a real treat to spend time in.
Beautiful and quiet. Clean and just peaceful after a long day on the road
We stayed in the honeymoon suite with the spa bath which we enjoyed very much after travelling from Cape Town. Fantastic view from our room. Huge and comfortable bed with good linnen and very soft towels in the bathroom. We enjoyed the double shower heads in the shower. Nespresso machine also a plus as we love good coffee! We highly recommend Vetho House.
