I stayed in Cabin 8. Lovely view of the pond. Screened-in sunroom. Perfect for one or two. I got take out from the Happy Clam Shack and ate it in the sunroom. Loved falling asleep to the sound of bullfrogs. Lena, Dana, and Lisa were perfect hosts. I checked out in the morning and by that evening I needed to stay another night somewhere in the area due to family health issues. My daughter offered to find a hotel and I immediately suggested Eden Village. They had a room available and because of their self-check-in, I could relax and get there when I needed to. I stayed in the hotel in room 24 and it was great.

The Seasider Motel is ideally located, right at the entrance of Bar Harbor Town and close the ACAIDA NP. The staff was friendly and helpful and followed up all requests. Complementary breakfast was generously provided including coffee, orange juice and buns. Coffee, tea and water was available all day. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Location. It was Maine Lobster Festival season and many decent accommodations were booked. Seasider was a reasonable price and quite nice for a motel
It's a motel but with a big lawn area out front. Stayed on second floor which had a view of trees. Location was superb and price reasonable given its location in Bar Harbor in summer. No restaurant but that's ok because the main tourist part of town is like 2 blocks. I liked that it's unpretentious and comfortable.
Clean bare bones motel room. No fridge, no microwave, basic cable. If you're here for the 'motel room experience', please reconsider your priorities. If you're here to have a functional base of operations while exploring this part of maine, you've found it.

Great location at walking distance from center (with free shuttle bus for those who do not want to walk). Clean hotel. Great views from room with balcony. Outside pool (which we did not use only because of the weather). Free parking.
I would say this motel deserves a higher rating. The property owners applied a lot of care and effort to maintain a smooth check-in process, provided ample details about the property and surrounding area, and they made sure all creature comforts were stocked or available. I loved the natural area and large windows in the back my room and felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Would absolutely stay again - this place is a good deal considering proximity to parks and level of care.
A good location just west of Bar Harbor. Large room and very clean. They have a laundry room for guests and a break room with coffee and hot water. We also found out that there is free transportation on the Island taking you many places. Every 20 minutes a bus goes by and we stood across the street from our motel and waved the bus and it picked us up. They took us to the village green in Bar Harbor then we took it back to our motel and they dropped us at the motel driveway. Parking in Bar Harbor is $4.00 per hour everywhere.
Bar Harbor Motel made everything easy! We were able to eat breakfast, pick up snacks to eat in the park (where there are not food options), and even borrow beach chairs on a day the kids wanted to swim at Sand Beach. This motel has all kinds of land games and a pool for times when kids or adults want to hang out close to lodgings. Room was great, and the retro theme was done very well. Can’t say enough—this place was tops!
