Good variety of breakfast. good staffing to ensure everything was filled. tables wiped off pretty quickly.

Yes, it is definitely an old-fashioned motel, but it is very quaint and quiet. It had all the usual essentials like microwave, refrigerator, coffee, maker, television, etc. It was very clean and very comfortable. What’s not to like????

I’ve been traveling across the USA and this was my favorite so far - and I’ve driven thru 6 states!! I can’t recommend this motel enough, it’s definitely worth the drive from the interstate. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE and the interiors were painted lovely soothing colors. The area felt extremely safe, and the gal working the front desk (who I believe is the owner) was extremely kind and friendly.

Boasting a garden, Little River Inn Motel is situated in Leon. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was nice having a cozy home to ourselves. Located close to a family reunion in Lamoni. Very convenient and well equipped little house. We’ll definitely keep it mind for next year.

Brookstone Lodge & Suites is located in Algona. With a fitness centre, the 5-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Had the appearance and quality of service of a much more expensive hotel.

Budget Inn - Keokuk provides air-conditioned rooms in Keokuk. This 1-star motel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. I like a full breakfast, eggs, ham, hashbrowns and toast, so was out the door first thing in the morning to grab some breakfast elsewhere. This motel has been remodeled and is in great condition, rooms are very clean, everything works well, staff was very nice and this is a quiet section of town. I didnt even hear any road noise outside and I was in the front building.
