Motel Blue River in Călimăneşti offers a restaurant, free WiFi access in all areas, and free private on-site parking. The property is 5 km from the Cozia Monastery. We needed somewhere to break our journey between Sibiu and Bucharest but had fairly low expectations for our stay at Motel Blue River Calimanesti given how cheap the room was, so we were blown away when we arrived in our room with an amazing river view! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site which is very convenient and we had both dinner and breakfast there, enjoying our breakfast on their terrace in the morning. The staff were lovely and we appreciated not needing to check out till midday as this allowed us to have a very leisurely breakfast. Incredible value for money and we would definitely stay again should we return to Romania again in the future!

Set in Drăgăşani, Motel Kilometrul Zero features a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I arrived quite well into the evening, and needed little more than a shower, and bed. The room was very spacious having four beds in it, the hotel is set back off the main road, so there was no noise from outside overnight. Shower worked well, establishment spotlessly clean, and would be happy to stay here again.
