The property lies in a side road just off the main thoroughfare therefore there is no traffic noise. The room was very comfortable and the heating was on throughout the night. The food at dinner was excellent, the meat was cooked to perfection.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was lovely, the room was very nice and breakfast was excellent. The owner even helped me with directions and parking in the city when I left.

First, I was messed up the dates of my stay and after contacting the property they agreed to move it day later for free. The second thing was that they came and started the heating of the room so it was warm enought while we were there - something which on my previous stays in Romania didn't happened. Apart from that this is just a road motel.

Featuring a restaurant with a summer terrace, a bar and a 24-hour front desk, Pensiunea Old Sheriff is located in Bistriţa, within 2 km from the city centre and the Memorial House Andrei Muresanu. Very helpful staff, they helped us with all our questions. The rooms are clean and warm. I would like to note the bed linen made of pleasant material , tea and coffee, it was cool to have a hot drink after the cold.
