Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Everything was so wonderful. Donna and Ted are just great. Picked us up from the wharf, showed us around, even gave us a free ride to the start of the hiking trail (The Great Walk). Highly recommend.

With panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, The Bay Motel overlooks Halfmoon Bay on Stewart Island. It features a nearby golf course, a free shuttle service and free private parking on site. It was a lovely service. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped off our baggage at the ferry station when we returned to Bluff.

Stewart Island's iconic South Sea Hotel is located on the foreshore, in the centre of town. It is 2 minutes’ walk from the ferry and airline terminals. A great hotel with a fantastic location. The room is better than the pictures with a fridge and small kitchen area. Highly recommended.
