An older property but looked after very well. Trevor welcomed us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know and answered any questions we had. We spent two nights and wished we had more time.Paihia is a quaint and beautiful little town in the Bay of Islands. The motel was within very easy walking distance of the town with several resort choose from. The included breakfast was phenomenal and served right to our door right at the chosen time. We highly recommend Paihia Star Motel for value and a wonderful stay. It was well appointed, clean and friendly and the beds most comfortable! Thank you Trevor!!!

Lovely property with amazing views. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything needed for self-catering. The bedroom was a bit small, but the bed was quite comfortable. Perfect location to explore the Tutukaka Coast!

Lodge Bordeaux features a heated outdoor pool, a barbecue pavilion and an in-room breakfast service. A 5-minute drive from Whangarei’s city centre, it offers free unlimited WiFi. Easy access, and even though on the highway, it was quiet. Quick check-in. Shared laundry, but we arrived just in time to get a load done. Our apartment actually looked better than the photos, the kitchen was functional with enough equipment to make a little dinner. We had a spa bath, which we didn't have time to use, but loved that towel warmer. We found a classical music station on the TV! It's nice they provide real milk for your coffee or for hot chocolate with your cookies.

Offering quality accommodation, this 4.5-star property is nestled between Paihia and Waitangi on Te Ti Bay. Ideal location as a base to explore the Bay of Islands. Friendly and very helpful owner operators. Clean, comfortable, good shower. Parking right outside the apartment door, gas station 100 metres away, good supermarket just as close. 2 minute drive or 15 minute pleasant walk into Pathia.
