Surrounded by bushland Brookby Motel offers accommodation 5 minutes' walk from Thames shops, restaurants and cafes. Free car parking is available outside each room. We travel a lot. This was, without a doubt, the cleanest, most well appointed motel or hotel we have stayed in anywhere in the world. Keith, the manager, was wonderful.

The Olive Motel offers modern accommodation including studios and spacious suites, with heating and air-conditioning. All guests have access to free WiFi and free on-site parking facilities. We liked Everything , spoke with the owner , he was very attentive and helpful . Great quiet location , very clean , attention to detail .

Set on 1.5 acres of native landscape. The Church Accommodation is a 5-minute walk from Hahei Village and a 10-minute walk from Hahei Beach. The houses are nicely arranged in a blooming garden in a way that you have privacy and don't really see the neighbouring houses. The houses are really spacious and well equiped. The location is top, you can reach the beach by foot. Especially recommandable is the Church restaurant. Make sure to book a table in advance as it is very popular also with locals.

Coromandel Seaview Motel is situated between the mountains and the sea of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is close to renowned saltwater fishing and a number of outdoor activities. Wonderful gem of a place. The location is spectacular and Kim and Gail very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the 2 bed spa apartment with our son between Christmas and New Year. Everything was spotless, beds very comfortable. We made good use of the sparkling clean spa and did an evening BBQ every day just soaking up the wonderful views of the bay from our deck. Nice walk down to Long Bay Beach from the apartment and we loved the zip line experience at Driving Creek. Could not recommend this place more highly!! Thanks Gail and Kim

Set in Thames, Sunset Motel features barbecue facilities and a garden. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Large unit, spotless. Well equipped kitchenette. Excellent beds. Quiet spot set back from the highway.

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court. Clean and central to the town. First time I think that the description was true to the location. Gave us a voucher for 10% off at a local pub. Unfortunately aerial was knocked out with some building works but really not that big an issue. Staff went out of their way to find a solution. Thanks
