The location was very good, half a minute to the sea and the restaurants and supermarket. The staff were very nice and kind.

It's also within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and a lot of activities. If you are traveling to Kaikoura, you MUST stay here. The owners were helpful and friendly, and very patient with our change in plans for check-in and check-out. The room was excellent; there was a bed in it's own room and another in the living room with a clear view of the beach! A full kitchen was in the room, and parking was convenient. Everything was very clean and comfortably cozy.

Very well appointed one bedroom apartment, the kitchen area was stocked, clean bathroom with a shower that didn’t leak, actually a rare occurrence, and comfortable bed. Close to town for walking. An added bonus was a loaner towel for the hot spring park!

Alps Motel & Apartments se encuentra en Twizel. El motel también ofrece wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. I was greeted very warmly which really sets the tone for the stay. I’m glad that there was a list of directions on how to work the washing/drying machine and dishwasher. I did some much needed laundry. The studio was spotless and new. It felt like I was staying in my own apartment. It was about a 45 min drive to Mt. Cook, but I enjoyed the drive.
