Located in Hamremoen, right by Krøderfjorden, Kroderen Kro & motel AS features free WiFi access and free private parking. The family-owned motel is 5 km from Noresund, while Hønefoss is 30 km away. We had a lovely stay - the room was very clean and comfortable, with a view towards the lake and access to terrace to sit in. The staff was amazing and accommodated a late check in / helped with an early breakfast to allow us to get to the airport on time. We did not have the time to explore the Neighborhood much but there seem to be many possibilities for hikes etc. Very convenient if you are on your way to the airport, just 1h30 away.

Motell Svinesundparken is just off the E6 motorway, by the Norway-Sweden border crossing at Svinesund. It offers free private parking, air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi throughout the property. It was very clean, we called the number on the door and a man gave us (easy to understand) explanation of booking process.
