quiet beautiful place. Well-kept garden and always clean house. Mobile Internet coverage is good here, so you can work remotely. The food here is very tasty and inexpensive. So I've always eaten here. The staff is very friendly and doesn’t ask unnecessary questions (as happens in Sri Lanka). I spent 10 days here and I felt very comfortable. There are fans in the rooms that can be turned on at low speeds, so you can’t hear them at all.
lovely property. after four weeks on the road this was by far the cleanest pool we had encountered! rooms aren’t massive but have all you need. staff can’t do enough to help you. it’s good value for money, lunch and dinner are well priced and the chef knows a thing or two! beach is accessible via a footpath opposite…….and it’s lovely, one of the few really good for swimming we found in all the time we were away. this end of the beach is not so developed as some and seems to be busier at the weekend when the locals visit from Colombo.
We were only there for a few hours before a very early morning flight, didn't get to try breakfast. Fairly basic but decent motel, great for a stop-over.
Great location. Good working internet (I was working remotely). Good facilities and amazing staff
The room was spacious. Towels, soap and a fan were provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location had pros and cons. It was close to the bus road, the tourist stores and the beach. However, being on the road meant that you could hear traffic and beeps all the time. The breakfast was good but for me, it was quite oily to start the day with. (It's Sri Lanka so serving tropical fruit like pineapples, papayas and coconut would be perfect for the guests)
Very new a modern Place in a renovated old building. Very comfortable room and super friendly hosts. Note that they still don’t have a sign on the road and it looks like a regular house, so you better call them to tell you where it is.
The location is right on the beach, also close to the stores. It was a lot of space and also very clean. I appreciate also the avilabity of drinking water. The host helped me a lot with my plan and transportation for the next days. He even stored some of my things while I was on the road.
