Staff is really friendly, hotel is beautiful and the pool is fantastic, hotel restaurant is good, had a lovely dinner there. The rooms are spacious and the locations is ok but when we were there there were works on the road in front of hotels so more difficult to walk around.
Very nice boutique hotel . Only thing location was okay as couldn’t get out for a stroll as it was right on the road
Great hotel, Friendly staff, nice food and good coffee. They really made an effort to give a Western look. Beds were very comfortable, like the shower. Nice location: only a 10 minute walk to the parking lot, where the busses to Periyar park start. A lot of shops in the street and an ATM across.
Location was good, very close to the historic center and to several cafes, antique stores and historical buildings. The room was spacious, with reliable WiFi, which allowed me to work remotely.
It's layed out like a Motel. Clean rooms, comfy bed, nice check in process, good restaurant nearby, manager kept our bags and shared local information. Okay for a night.
1. The rooms were impeccable. Really clean with not a speck of dust in any forgotten corners (cause I usually check these things first) or even on the chairs out in the balcony. 2. Every staff member we encountered was extremely cordial and responsive 3. The location was right on the road, near enough all the important places of interest yet tucked away from the lights and clamour of the market/town; with most of the rooms facing the forest/plantation.
After a long day on the road, I was very happy to reach Landy Queen. The room was nice and comfortable, the staff very friendly.
The best thing about the place was the host himself. Rooms were nice. Property was on the road.
