Located just 16 minutes' drive south of Rutland Water Nature Reserve, Redwings Lodge Rutland is nestled in the village of Morcott. With free WiFi access and free on-site parking, Burghley House is 10.6 miles away. I was given a ground floor room, which was great as I was travelling with my dogs. The staff were so pleasant & welcoming & the breakfast next morning surpassed expectation. This hotel was brilliant for an overnight stop. I had stayed there 2 weeks earlier & wouldn;t hessitate to stay there again. Thank you Redwings Rutland!
Chris, the host was charming and took the time to chat. It's nicely decorated and in a good location. Free parking and a fantastic breakfast. One of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed at, if only more could be like this .
Large room very clean. Large comfortable clean bed. Large comfy sofa. I requested a room at the end of the coridoor so as not to be disturbed by other guests walking passed, and the hotel obliged. The room was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep. They provide a wall heater if it's too cold, and a fan if it's too hot. Free parking. Good Wi Fi. Good simple self serve continental breakfast included in the cheap price. Even use of the microwave any time if you wanted a microwave meal in the evening.
Room -good size, quiet. Has standing fan and additional mobile heater. Spacious bathroom and lovely power shower. Breakfast was relaxed (allocated timing to avoid crowding). Choice of continental and cooked breakfast. Lovely local bread. Free parking spaces available but tight - need exceptional parking skills and patients. Nearby council parking available (free on weekends).
Motel was basic but the room was very clean and had tea/coffee making facilities
Really big comfortable twin room with ample free parking.
Very Accessible, very clean, good Location, free parking, fantastic menu accommodates your dog which is an added bonus.

nice location had a carpark rooms in an old stable in the attic so very hot they did provide fans bed comfy great bathroom and a great breakfast esp the eggs and salmon and good coffee enjoyed the stay
Nice motel-style property with a microwave for guest use in the lobby which gives some options for supper rather than having to pay restaurant prices. Simple but adequate continental breakfast available. Lots of free parking. Decent bathroom, comfy bed
