Modern and clean rooms. Nicely decorated. Our room was equipped with a Dyson hairdrier and ghd straighteners! Staff was helpful. Very good value for money.

Sturdys Castle is a 400 year old coaching inn that boasts a bar, restaurant, and free parking.
Sturdy's Castles hotel is situated in a separate building behind the main pub. The accommodation is split over two levels, unfortunately there is not a lift to the second floor.
Booked 50 minutes before arrival as our car travel plans turned out different than expected. Incredibly lovely staff. Delicious food both at dinner and at breakfast. Cozy rooms and most importantly a comfortable bed. Would recommend and definitely going to stay there again if we need a bed again in that region.

Good location, close to bus stop to a city centre, near supermarkets and coffee places. Free parking and friendly staff, basic but nice breakfast included. Comfortable beds, tea/coffee amenities. We were allowed to leave the car free of charge before checking time ;) that was nice.
Very friendly, helped us with the buses, good coffee in the morning, simple but efficient breakfast.

Good location, 30 min walk from the City Centre. Beds were super comfy and we had everything in the room that we needed. Everything was clean and ideal for the purpose of our trip - to spend all day in Oxford, with a safe, clean place to crash for the night! Great that there was free parking too - especially in a City Centre. The owner didnt reply to any of our Booking.com messages, but he DID pick up each time we called so that was good. And the maid was an absolute sweetheart - she couldnt do enough for us.

Lovely restaurant, rooms all in separate 2-storey building - a bit like the American motels you see in films … but nice. The rooms are a good size, with a private en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over). Kettle, coffee, tea and biscuits provided as well as complimentary bottled water.
I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who booked me in. The room was immaculate and large with bottled water, coffee making facilities with cookies and very large fluffy white towels. The breakfast was included and had everything you could wish for from continental to full English with real orange juice and good coffee and hotel had free parking. Overall a very good experience well worth the money, and I will definitely stay here again. The only negative was I only stayed one night this time.
