Tram takes you to picadilly, the airport and trafford centre. Police was located at the square and at the tram made you feel secure. Also just a few minutes walk to bus stops at portland /dickinson street and oxford road as well as the Manxhester central. The design of the hotel is unique and cosy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room size was adequate. The bed was huge and comfortable. 3 elevators so you didnt have to wait. Did not have cooked breakfast but excellent croissants, fruit salad and coffee was perfect for me!

Situated just off the M61 motorway, with views over Winter Hill and the West Pennine Moors on the outskirts of Bolton, The Mercury has a lively bar and nightly entertainment. Manchester city centre is a 20-minute drive away. It was convenient for us and we had great communication with the owner. Decent cleanliness.
