Built in 2008, this 4-star motel is within 39 km of Hever Castle and 40 km of Glyndebourne Opera House. The property is non-smoking and is located 36 km from Ightham Mote. Very clean, the lady from reception was waiting for us until 8 pm. We had everithing we needed în the room. Amazing location. We will definetly come back on the summer.
Burwash
Located in the rural village of Burwash, The Bear Inn is just a 10-minute drive from the ancient woodland of Dallington Forest. Homemade food using local ingredients is served in the hotel’s restaurant. The landlady Pauline and her staff are amazing!
There was plenty of free parking. The room was fine, away from the traffic on the main road. We enjoyed our meals and were pleased with the vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Great hotel, location is perfect for the beach and for the town. All staff members were very helpful and friendly. If you need to park you can buy a discount permit for the day to park on the road nearby (far cheaper than the meter tariffs). It was exactly what myself and my sons needed for our short stay and it was exactly as described so we didn't encounter any surprises. Thanks to all at West Rocks.
Easy to find, lots of free parking. Reception friendly enough although no offer to help with luggage. Well equipped large room overlooking the golf course. People may pass by... Generous breakfast in huge room.

Apartment was clean and has everything you need. Really well decorated and only a 20 minute walk to the town/tennis/beach. Lovely host. Free parking on the road, got a space straight away. I have stayed in a few apartments but this might be my favourite. Highly recommend!

The location was great with a park a minute walk away, which was perfect for the dogs and a 15 minute walk from the pier. Although the road was quite busy, we found free parking on the road a few houses down. The garden was comfortable, with plenty of seats and having an upstairs and downstairs toilet was a huge bonus. The house was perfectly clean and the shower was good. The communication with the owner was fantastic.
