It was comfy, warm, clean, and had all that i needed. The shower and sink water pressure and temperatures were great and the towels were fresh and soft. The bed was comfortable and clean, and i was able to park right in front of my room. Additionally, there were outlets for guests to plug their winterized vehicles into. Awesome! Also, it is right next to a delicious restaurant/bar that has DELICIOUS poutine and other foods!
Destruction Bay
Boasting a bar, Talbot Arm Motel is situated in Destruction Bay. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. The restaurant was a short walk from the room, The restaurant room was always clean and service was quick and efficient. Mandeep, who mainly worked the breakfast shift, was very welcoming and `q`quick to look after my needs.

This hotel was in a small area off our route but worth the extra travel to get there. The room was spacious and well supplied.

Very friendly staff at the front desk. The young lady helping us was very friendly en helpful. she even returned a extra night of parking fee which we accidently booked. A+ Pretty also :-)

The room was well kept, hot shower, a (big) bath tub as well as the (big) fridge in the room we chose (Room #24) made a very comfortable stay. The location near the town center was great, the parking was spacious and right in front of the room door. The coin laundry in the basement was very helpful for us esp. on coming back from a multi-day canoe trip. Another thing I must mention is the friendliness & helpfulness of the front staff - they kindly accepted to store our luggage while we went away for the river trip. Big thanks to Tony, Ana and the other charming lady (Sorry I forgot to ask her name) for accomodating us so nicely. I as well as my wife & daughter enjoyed our 3nights' stay so very much.

This is an older motel and it’s certainly showing its age. The fixtures and fittings are past their best but you get what you pay for. It was spotlessly clean, in a great central location, lots of parking and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
This is older motel about 2 or 3 km from downtown Dawson City. We had a second floor room facing the highway. It was clean and comfortable with minimal amenities. If you are looking for a basic motel room for one or two nights, this place will do. It is not a Hyatt or Marriott, but it served our purpose. Note that the public card-lock immediately across the highway from the motel provides the cheapest gasoline in Dawson City.
This was the best place to stay in a long time. It was so thoughtful and clean. This is the first time I took a bath in a motel because it was so clean and new. Thank you so much. We needed a good nights sleep and we got it!!!
Ok motel. Definitely a budget one but was clean. Happy with it for the money. Excellent restaurant in the same building.
Easy check in and check out. We managed to get a free parking spot.
It was just what we needed after a very long day on the road. It was easy to pull up, grab our keys, and jump in bed. It was very clean. Glad we could park right outside our door.
Place was more comfortable than I expected. Teslin very small. Not many choices. Trading Post and Motel combos don't promise much. But place was clean and quiet and had what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff were great and friendly. Location is about a 30 minute walk ( 3 minute drive) to town but if you go home at the right time ( about 1 am for us) you walk home with the Northern lights, how good is that! Walking tour from Visitor Center and tour of dredger about 10 minutes drive from motel ( ask at motel for directions) we’re both great and must do tours.
Motel located on the junction of Alaska highway and Haines road. Perfect for a stay after a long drive through the wilderness. Spacious rooms with small kitchenette for breakfast and snacks. Very friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay here!
