The motel is located close to the town center. It is a beautiful property with gardens that were in bloom even in winter. Lots of spaces to sit around the property to read a book or dine with others. Brekky brought to the room in the morning was super and at the time we nominated. Staff are lovely and super friendly. The property appears to have been renovated recently and the rooms are clean, comfy and the rest rooms are modern.

Lovely area, peaceful and away from city noise. Felt more like in a residential area with 'neighbors'. The unit is new, clean and fully furnished. Lovely views outside with a chance of wildlife. Staff never failed to communicate with us.

Boasting an outdoor saltwater pool, free on-site parking and BBQ facilities, Port Douglas Motel is just 3 minutes' walk from Four Mile Beach. This was a wonderful stay that I'd happily recommend. Relaxing, private, characterful space with lots of info, and close to food/entertainment/walks. There's a second-hand bookshop in town that is outrageously charming.

Did a very last-minute booking due to unforeseen circumstances. The place was spotless ! The owner talked me through every step to get in and set up in such a caring way it was truly appreciated after a rather frazzeling 2 hour drive which took 5 hours to complete!
