Picnic Bay
Just 200 metres from Picnic Bay Beach, Tropical Palms Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with a kitchenette and a private balcony or courtyard. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a barbecue area set in lovely gardens. wonderful stay at this place. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly receipt . The check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft, which allowed me to have a good rest. The facilities in the room were all in good condition. The service during my stay was excellent. The housekeeping was thorough every day. Whenever I had a request, the staff would respond promptly. I am very satisfied with this accommodation and would recommend it to others.
Arcadia
Located on Magnetic Island, overlooking Alma Bay and Geoffrey Bay, Arcadia Village Motel offers 3 bars, a café and 2 swimming pools. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV. Guests enjoy free on-site parking. The pool, the location, right across the road from the beach, the pub, very quiet and the staff were all fantastic and very accommodating!

Rob gave us a warm welcome. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. The motel was within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, the hotel and public transport.
Food was great. Location was great. Free parking. Could be awesome if maybe there was more staff to keep on top of everything? Staff were helpful and pleasant. Have stayed at other nomads and not experienced this so hopefully just this location maybe.
Good location near Geoffrey bay rock wallabies. Ample free parking.
Good location near Arcadia Pub which had good meals and wine and beer and nice staff despite the building being old and needing doing up . Luckily we were in No 7 the end room facing the hotel pool and angled toward the trees and beach as the Motel pool which most of the other rooms faced onto was filled with5-6 kids screaming and crying out uncontrollably for most of the 3 days we were there. Room was spacious.
Arcadia Village Motel was in a great location, staff were friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Excellent view.
The room was at a fairly premium price which was to be expected when options on Magnetic Island are limited. The location was good and there was washing on site which was valuable having been on the road for nearly 3 weeks!
Friendly welcome, location to beach across the road, on site pool excellent, added bonus of use of pools in hotel next door, Arcadia Village Motel is the perfect location to stay with bus service within 50 metres, hotel with great facilities right next door, will be back!!!
Close to the port and had free parking Also pool was nice and big and had friendly staff.
Great breakfast. Great location. Motel staff were exceptionally helpful. We were given a room upgrade which was very appreciated and we had a grea time! We will definitely stay again.
The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in in a motel
