Looking for a motel?
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

Solid stay in Apia but it's more of a motel than a hotel. Nothing special but the room was clean, there's free coffee and breakfast, and it's in walking distance to the city centre and most sights! Breakfast was nothing special but better than at other places I have stayed at (toast with jam/peanut butter, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal). There's free parking on site, and a restaurant for lunch/dinner. Overall good value for money and I would stay here again!

The location is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to city centre. Or about 5 tala taxi. Down a driveway so away from the road. Quiet motel. Staff were not always on site, but responded to messages with information, offered to arrange rentals, sorted laundry etc. The pool was a nice way to cool down. A short walk to a number of good eateries (eg Scalini's, Rokos, Giordano's, Phat Burger, Kokobanana)

Big motel. Deluxe room large with a balcony. Good food and drink places in close walking distance. Sea just across the road and nice outlook to the port.

This was our first time to Samoa so we were unsure of what to expect. Hotel Vaea was an easy walk into the main part of town. The hotel has hot water (many places don’t) The pool was surrounded by gardens which was nice. Breakfast was included. They have good coffee and a reasonable selection for breakfast. We were happy staying there.
