Convenient location in Malibu with beach access right across PCH. I prefer smaller hotels. The pool area was quaint and not crowded. The observation deck up the hill was a nice touch to watch the sunset.

The pool and hot tub were very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to the ocean, Hollywood and downtown. It was a cool retro motor lodge. The price was reasonable.

Good location next to supermarkts and restaurants - only 30 min. away from Santa Monica via 101/405 or via the beautiful Topanga Canyon blvd :)
The location was kind of OK, across the streets there is a plaza with lots of restaurants and bars for breakfast and dinner. Our favourite was definitely Paris Baguette - kindly recommend for breakfast. A plus was also free parking for guests. The young guy that welcomed us at the reception was very kind and hospitable, what can be hardly said for the other two guys working at the desk, that definitely did not want to be bothered.
I was worried as I pulled in off Ventura Blvd., but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this motel. The room had everything I needed an more - good lamps, high quality free WiFi, comfortable bed, lots of hangers, every amenity I expect and want. I enthusiastically recommend this motel.
