Room was great, location couldn't have been better and the bathroom was well done! The staff was great, oh and loved the large parking lot too !
Located within a Ponderosa Pine forest and a 5-minute drive to the Grand Canyon Railroad, this Williams, Arizona motel features a heated indoor swimming pool open from May to October.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Even though this was not a higher end Motel(for me I wanted something affordable while traveling), the gentleman there was very helpful and nice. He kept a close watch on the place to make sure there is no "rif raf" taking place. The place was clean and comfortable.
It is such a Quaint and Vintage remodeled motel! A Cute and Small location for quiet people! A quiet place to rest and relax! The staff were kind and friendly! The flowers surrounding the motel were beautiful!
Location in Williams, very clean, clean and big indoor pool, breakfast is included and is fine, performant hairdryer, modern and new, free parking, free coffee and water
A decent motel that is a good solution for those who want to stay (relatively) close to the Grand Canyon, without paying the ridiculous and very expensive amounts charged by the park or in towns near the park.
The motel is about an hour drive from the entrance to the Grand Canyon park, and about half an hour from the city of Flagstaff - which is very convenient for shopping, if needed.
The motel itself is very similar to many other motels, and not exceptionally special: Clean motel, spacious room, free parking, etc.
The value. You can stay at any chain motel, but The Canyon offers an historic and unique charm. As an historic 1940’s motor lodge, The Canyon separates itself as both a fun place to stay while taking a walk down memory lane and Route 66 Americana. In addition, the friendly staff is outstanding!
The location is amazing, the town it’s in is absolutely incredible and a must-see and this motel is right in the thick of it all! We booked super last minute and we were so pleased we did. It was very comfortable, free parking right outside and free Wi-Fi. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which is always very welcome on a big road trip!
A nice base for our short Grand Canyon visit, 1-hour away from the main site. We enjoyed the charm of the motel-like disposal with rooms accessible from the large and free parking. The town has plenty restaurant options.
