This is definitely a flagship property for the chain - nothing against the Days inn brand but I've stayed at many different locations under their logo and have come to expect very little other than a middle of the list place to stay the night if I'm in a hurry and on a budget- however I have stayed here several times now when visiting Cherokee and have been pleasantly surprised each stay! Exceptionally clean, recently renovated, perfect beds, and warm/personable staff have me reconsidering my perception of the entire Days inn chain. This is becoming the first place I check for available rooms when planning a trip to Cherokee.

Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Captures the spirit of an old timey motel in the mountains, when fellow travelers bonded over their shared adventures on chairs in front of the rooms or by the cool creek side fire ring.
The bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly. The casino and restaurants are very close if you like that sort of entertainment. Also the motel was pretty quiet. I would stay again.
We stayed at one of the villas, which is separate from the Motel. It was a separate building on a large stream. There was plenty of room in the villa, and it was very nice inside. There was a small covered deck overlooking the stream. There were grills, picnic tables, and outdoor games to use. Looking only at the villa and surrounding area, it was pretty nice.
Cheap. Very cheap. Surprisingly, much cleaner that I though it would be considering the low-budget price.
Has AC unit. And small fridge. And the parking. And four walls and the roof.
Overall, very outdated, rural and brutal motel (which we would expect and did not have high hope and expectations)
The room was fine but i was under the impression that i paid for a Cabin thats what i specified on website but when i arrived the clerk told me that is was a motel room instead but she would get me into a Cabin if there was a cancellation, which there usually was, But that didin't happen . The room was clean and you could smell that it had been cleaned. the beds were very comfortable., the refrigerator needed to be defrosted, everything you put into it froze
This is an older motel. I was surprised how well kept the room was. The heat worked great. Curtain closed all the way. No open under door. Bed test, I thought oh my this will be a hard night sleep. I was surprised how comfortable the bed actually was. I slept like a rock! Coffee in room. TV worked well, lots of choices. Front desk staff was friendly and prompt.
