Older motel but so comfortable!! Very clean and owners were so helpful with places to eat. We had a wonderful stay in the off season. Highly recommended!!

The front desk person upon check in had such terrible body odor, I had to walk outside to catch my breath! Disgusting!!

It was winter so not the best time to judge. I have stayed here during the summer and had a better experience. It was what one could expect with less to choose from. Mainly, I went to get some down time to read, rejuvenate and contemplate by the beach where I spent my childhood. It served that purpose.

This hotel should not have the name resort attached to it. Customer service was terrible including not being able to call the hotel directly or to change reservations . This is a one start motel.
Typical motel room, clean and just what we needed for our stay in Maine. About a 5 min drive from Wells beach. Close to many restaurants. Would recommend and would stay again.
This was listed as an apartment. It was a motel room. The mini fridge was only that, no freezer for ice....there was a microwave...but it was in w the beds and the table even though it said was apt for 4 people only had 2 chairs and really not enough room to sit at it.
Location was exceptional right on the ocean. The pool was not heated as described in info. There were no bathrooms any where on the property except for your own room . I found this disturbing and very inconvenient. The hotel charges five star prices , but is a three star motel. No beach chairs , no beach towels, no bottled water in your room, and the mattresses and furniture very outdated.
Breakfast wasn’t offered at this motel. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay there again!!
Love that this a small family owned motel. Always clean, comfortable and close to everything. We try to get to Wells once a year and unless we use our timeshare, always stay here. Small kitchen space with fridge is a thoughtful addition. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and reasonable priced.
