Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Easy to find, good location with plenty of parking. It was walking distance or a very short drive to shops and restaurants. The room was on the small side for an American motel, but the bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, especially David at breakfast. It was more expensive than similar places that we stayed in, but I guess that was because of the good location.
The staff was friendly and competent. The rooms were much cleaner than I expected. The flexibility of having 3 queen beds was excellent. The motel was quiet even though we had a room right at the parking lot.
For a budget motel, I was surprised at how nice it was for the amenities that matter most: fluffy, plush towels, great flat screen TV, good coffee in room, and, super comfy bed. It may not be as pretty as other hotels, but it was more than adequate for an overnight stay.
We loved the ambiance of the town, and the motel. At first, when we arrived my husband and I thought oh no! what did we book? The outside of the establishment is deceiving. The office staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the town, and recommended several places to eat dinner. The room was fantastic, very clean and the bed was extremely pleasant. A bonus was the huge TV, my husband and I would definitely stay here again. A little gem in the middle of nowhere!.
I’ve never been to a motel that had such friendly staff. Everyone we encountered were so nice and seemed like they were genuinely happy at their job and to help in any way they could. The staff member at breakfast was exceptionally nice and made our morning so enjoyable
Great location for getting out to the Badlands and seeing Wall Drug. Comfortable bed and linens. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff at checkin and at breakfast. Quiet place! My only critique is that the fan in the room was either all on or all off but perhaps that’s normal. We slept on the far bed to avoid having air blowing on us. The whole stay was more expensive than I expected but those are the prices for a good, clean motel near a national Park. I would definitely stay there again. Thx!
Motel.room large and obviously renovated recently. Great location for park access and within walking distance of restaurants in a 1 horse town. Rico at the front desk was helpful and attentive and sorted out a reservation glitch for us immediately. Likes that the fridge had a freezer allowing us to refreeze our ice packs.
I liked the location and the staff. Cleanliness, so-so. We stayed on ground floor, and the sound travelled clearly from the upstairs down to us. The overall facilities are starting to fade, you can tell its an older motel.
Older motel that has been kept up,. refurbished,.very clean, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again.
This is a motel conveniently located close to the Badlands National Park. The breakfast was good, the room okay, beds good.
