We stayed here for a few nights towards the end of our California road trip and could not have dreamt up a more relaxing dreamy place. We had 2 rooms in the cottages which were spacious and beautifully appointed, with 2 big queen beds in each. The pool is wonderful with big comfy sun loungers all around. Pool towels freely available. We also took advantage of the free bikes one day and cycled into the town.

This is an old motel, just 20 rooms but the good thing is they have been totally refurbished and are stylishly great
Ignore the old reviews and believe me they are great, basic but comfortable. I’m very fussy and don’t normally stay at motels but we were let down and needed a last minute room.
Trust me these rooms are a gem
The location is excellent. A couple of cafes and restaurants and minimarts in short walking distance. Really close to the town center and the beach (both are within biking distance).
The manager Kenny is Mr Hospitality! He did everything he could to make our stay better. We brought a couple of bikes and he made it easy to store them securely in one of the motel utility rooms.
We had expected some construction noise but there was none while we were there.

Quiet and close to everything we had planned on doing. Staff was very friendly. Motel is older but maintained. Room had a small kitchen which was perfect. Smaller property with easy access to major streets and close to grocery stores. Also, sits right next door to an ice cream parlor which was delicious!
What a great hidden gem! The White Caps Motel is recently remodeled and all of the finishes are gorgeous and modern. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Huge new TV. Rain shower head with great water pressure. Clean, simple, and exactly what I needed. It's not a property you spend much time at, just a place to relax after a long day at the beach, but knowing that it was perfect for my trip.

A very nice motel. We had a big kitchen and a very clean room. The desk clerk is a really friendly guy and gave us a free wonderful upgrade to a bigger room.
The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The room was very clean and smelled good. The a/c worked very well, the force of the shower was perfect. The bed was huge and very soft, which is a good thing for those who like soft beds. The motel is a very short driving distance from the beach. FREE parking, cable and WIFI.
