Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
there was nothing wrong with this motel... it is what it is. It seems a step or two lower than an Econo hotel but then the price is lower. For an inexpensive safe and clean room this was fine for a one-night stay. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
The room was neat and tidy, with a fridge, microwave and drip-filter coffee machine. It's close to a beautiful residential area just behind the motel and the characterful older historical part of town. You can park your car right outside your room for easy loading and unloading.
love that our room had a dining table, definitely a wonderful feature. the motel is very old school and charming because of it. owner was friendly and they make an effort to make the room cozy with little flowers on the table.
The young man at the front desk was very friendly & VERY patient even during the 5-6 times we had to ask him to come fix our TV & 2 remote controls. We kept confusing which remote was to control volume & which was used to change channels... just a minor aggravation, I guess. I will say the motel is conveniently situated for easy access to restaurants, several shopping centers, downtown Uniontown, & US Highway 43.
We enjoyed our night stop at this very moderately priced motel located on the historic National Pike road. The room was compact but boasted a small outside deck area looking onto trees and a small lake. Reception staff were very friendly and pleasant. The nearby historic Stone House restaurant provided an excellent evening meal.
The gentleman that checked me in couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It was a cute, clean, motel that I highly recommend
