Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Property grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. Borders a beautiful river that we could hear from our room (block of rooms hotel style, and another block of rooms motel style). Staff was great. Breakfast is a buffet on paper, and such a treat!
It’s not a walkable to restaurant locations really, but still very close to everything. Pools were nice. Game room was okay - there were lots of board games to borrow. Yard games were out during our stay. Rooms are not fancy, but nice and clean.
Room was wonderful, with one of the most comfortable motel beds I've ever slept in. Motel felt very new and clean. Nicely located between town and mountain.
The garden at the back by the river was nice and had a great view. The room was comfortable and large. The lounge in the main building was also relaxing and comfy. Recreation path and restaurants nearby. Not far from centre of Stowe. Motel had a gym and hot tub inside, but we didn't get chance to try those. Was one of the few rooms available when we booked in Stowe.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were 2 queen beds in our room. There was a nice sofa and a good-sized TV. The motel has free bicycles for guests to use. Very nice staff. The location is fantastic and worth exploring the restaurants and shops
The room was large with 2 beds, a sofa, bathroom and a kitchenette. The area around the motel rooms was well maintained and attractive and the pool looked as though it would be good but was not yet open. The staff were very helpful and friendly and suggested places to eat and to visit in the area.
We have stayed at this motel many times. It meets our needs nicely, and we have always found the staff to be helpful and courteous. Nancy went out her way to accommodate a special request we had, which in turn, pleased my wife very much.
We loved having a wood-burning fireplace in the room and many DVD's to choose from at the office. It was nice that the motel is on the bus route. We could walk across the street and take the bus to Stowe ski resort. It was also great to have two separate bedrooms and a full kitchen. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
