Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
We are fans of old cottage courts and love to stay in them when we can. Serenity Motel was just perfect. We were greeted with enthusiasm by one of the owners, and we had a nice chat about the property. It's going to be 101 years old! The cottage we stayed in was super clean, and modernized just enough that it still maintained a quirky charm. The large covered front porch with a table and chairs invited us to eat dinner out there. A coffee maker, a good-sized fridge and a microwave added to the stay.
We had such a relaxing stay. The cottages were located right next to the woods, with a lot of stores and cute shops nearby. The cottage was very clean and quiet, with veeery comfy beds, the perfect getaway from the busy city. The owners are lovely people, they were very helpful and friendly. If we are ever in Vermont again, we´ll definitely be staying at Serenity Motel!
The quaint cottages were just what we needed for a good nights rest in the country before continuing on our trip. It was so satisfying to not having to hear noises for an adjoining motel unit through the walls. The amenities were perfect.
The owners were wonderful-very personable and concerned about making us feel welcome not only at the motel, but in getting to know the area. They shared with us where locals liked to eat, etc. which made our stay so much more enjoyable.
Such a cute little cabin. Beds were soft and comfortable. Felt more like a B&B style or boutique-ish as opposed to a roadside motel. Sheets on our beds were a soft jersey with plenty of blankets. Front staff/owner was friendly and helpful. Quiet property away from the road. We were travelling through Vermont and only stayed one night but this would be a place I would come back to as a destination.
If a basic, limited frills place is ok with you, this place is very good. I have stayed there before and for 1 or 2 people it works, it's a great value and the location is very good.
This is basic "old time" motel furnishings, but very clean, individual cabins which I really like, and priced exceptionally well for the Bennington area. If you need a lot of space and luxury, it's not for you, but if you want, clean, functional basic amenities, and a great value, you won't be disappointed.
The couple that owns Serenity Motel are extremely nice and very helpful on finding best places to eat and best attractions in the area. Don't think of this place as a motel. They are cute individual cabins with beautiful views. Highly recommended!!
