Although the motel portion of the hotel was dated, it was clean and comfortable. The shuttle van worked out great picking up our luggage when we got into town on the train from Anchorage (we chose to walk the 4 blocks to the hotel) as well as getting us to the cruise ship departure. The staff was all very helpful, hard working and happy to accommodate us. We enjoyed their restaurant and bar too.
Please fix entire listing - this is not accurate information: It is to read as follows: Offering easy access to the Seward Harbor, this motel is located .3 miles away.

Location was perfect!
It is a very old property and outdated. However, it was not an expectation to stay at a royal palace! It did the trick and we had no issues.
Featuring views over Resurrection Bay, this Seward motel is a half mile from Kenai Fjords Tours. Free WiFi is also available.

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful upon checkin and checkout. That was the easiest part of the experience as it was the same day. The events since then have been frustrating and ineffective in recieving an agreed upon refund.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Acceptable place to stay if the goal is simply to save money and have somewhere to sleep at night. Like many motels, room was dingy and in need of minor repairs, and you may have spiders as roommates. Location is great and at no time did we feel unsafe. Staff were very friendly and the coffee/tea in the office provided a quick boost to start the morning.
Really beautiful location on the road up to Exit Glacier. The Windsong was an ideal stay to explore Seward, Resolution Bay, the Kenjai Fjords National Park. A very relaxing and peace stay - the room was huge, very comfortably appointed with a large balcony that overlooked the woods really made it feel like you were immersed in nature. The Resurrection Roadhouse restaurant was excellent.
Location is one of the greatest advantage of this motel. If you take the boat tour to Kenai Fjords you can leave the car at the motel, and reach the boarding point in 2 mins walk. There is a gas station on the corner as well which is convenience when you planning a trip.
The second is the personnel who is supportive, attentive and acts as a family.
Big & spacious room. Biggest room in our 2 week trip. Much better than a motel. Power outlets near bed & other parts of room. Check in quick & fuss free. Great location: kenai fjord cruise across the road, great restaurants to eat seafood, big safeway supermart 0.6miles north.
The ease of booking and the pleasantness of the hosts. The key was waiting in the door when we arrived and they wanted to make sure that everything was ok. The location was perfect for being able to park our car and walk to the charming town of Seward. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Many restaurants within 1-2 blocks. It is a throwback motel and very fitting for this delightful town. Clearly not a chain property! Owners are locals
Great place to stay at, close to glacier and close to town for dinner etc. Room with big apple tv, movies available for play. If you use the link that you get through sms, you can do all online, even locking your room etc, great. Use the link! I did, but just before check out :)). Oh, they have good coffee outside, i was sceptical, but great morning sandwich with bacon and egg, is made for you just in time, wow, loved it, taste, to go, task few minutes.
Close to shops restaurants and cruises. We had a room that overlooked the mountains and it was in the newer part of the motel. This is the only reason it was okay because the older part was run down, had outside corridors, overlooking an alley. No breakfast or coffee but it was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Everything In Alaska is overpriced. Lol. Just expect it.
