Staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly and personable, and our sizeable room was cleaned daily. There were toiletries, a tea/coffee maker, microwave, and fridge; the AC was quieter than in most places, and we had windows on two sides of the room. There is even a laundry room (includes an ice machine) for the guests on the property. Restaurants and stores are in easy walking distance.

A perfectly clean and serviceable motel for the one night we stayed there (we spent the majority of our vacation at Olympic camping, but needed a place to shower and re-organize after doing some backpacking). The location in and of itself wasn't particularly great, other than it was convenient to get to downtown Port Angeles. There is a laundrymat just around the corner from the motel (bring cash to exchange for quarters, as the facility is unattended).

Great location for visiting the national park. Comfortable beds. Clean. Good coffee and juice every morning with two different kinds of granola bars to choose from. Staff were very nice.

The view was great. It’s super well located. The room completely met our expectations.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
The owner and staff are extremely nice. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room. Cookies in the lobby, and the breakfast is clutch!! Way better than you would expect from a motel. Would recommend this spot to anyone.
. I was far from home and needed somewhere to stay for the night and on a budget. Sundowner motel was it! Easy to locate in a nice quiet area, no issues with parking. It was such a relief to stay in a clean comfortable hotel that had such a cozy vibe to it. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice, making the check in and out quick and easy! This was a classic motel experience from the 1960s. Very charming. Real window boxes with flowers in them.
Enough things were updated and current that it was very comfortable. Our suite was very spacious.
Everything except being lied to and charged for my 2, services dogs, which I told the guy at the front desk that it was illegal to charge for service animals and he told my daughter that it wasn't and still charged me so I made a few calls when I returned home and found out that the motel is going to be getting into trouble for this and I was reimbursed for 1 night already by the agency and they'll contract me after they've dealt with the motel.. I love that motel and my family and I always stay there but never again.
Much better than expected for the price. Place was clean and comfortable. Very quiet, though the motel was not close to being at full capacity. For the price I couldn't be happier. Would stay again.
