Marco Polo Motel, hotel in Seattle

This motel is a 5-minute drive from downtown Seattle and the University of Washington. The motel offers free high speed Wi-Fi in every guest room.

Location is pretty good, not far from UDistrict and Capital Hill where we wanted to be. Room was clean and functional with a working fridge, microwave, and A/C. Main window has a built-in slide-lock so it was possible to open the window a 3 inch crack and lock it down to allow airflow without worrying about potential thief coming through the window. Outside temperature highs were only in the low 80s in the time we stayed, so we opted to have natural airflow rather than A/C.

Crown Inn, hotel in Seattle

Clean and comfortable. Close to town, seems like a safe enough neighborhood though Aurora can be "sketchy". Large room well appointed though older and refurbished. No pools, etc., so a standard motel.

This is my second time staying at this motel this year for concerts in Fremont and Ballard. Location is excellent for this and for downtown attractions as well. Front desk staff was different each time but they were both super friendly and helpful with early checkin and directions.

It is a simple motel-style hotel, but comfortable enough for a couple of nights so that one can visit Seattle. Tea and coffee is available in the lobby.

The location was central to activities on Capitol Hill. It was close to several restaurants and stores. The apartment was well furnished and very clean. It was nice of the property managers to stock cooking basics, and very nice of them to stock good coffee! It did not go unnoticed that it went beyond the basics. The full size washer and dryer were also nice things to have.

Staff was friendly. Needed to check out early and flexibility was much appreciated. This old property was the ONLY affordable hotel/motel we could find in all of Seattle and needs/DESERVES an upgrade from Wyndam.

Very clean and modern finishes. Much better security than most motels in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to a RapidRide E Line bus that takes you straight into the heart of Seattle for only $ 3.25 per person.

The motel is a motel-standard accommodation but with the very pleasant staff that goes beyond to meet your needs. The room is big, the bed comfortable - all that you need is there. No problems at all. Free parking - with ample space.

A lot of the reviews were not super favourable however the man at the front was really friendly and he upgraded our room to a suite. We got free parking and it was a 15 min Uber ride to our venue. The hotel was clean, and pretty quiet and the shower pressure was great. The bes was bed bug free (hubby checked). It’s a 2 star motel so if you’re looking for a palace, this ain’t for you. If you are just looking for a place to crash that’s clean and affordable while you check out the city, this is the place to stay.
