The hotel is very close to the airport, which was important to us. It has many businesses around to have breakfast or dinner.
The personnel was attentive and the rooms were clean. The breakfast is simple but it was a good add-on.

It was not very busy. I asked for a quiet room and was put right next to someone. They were smokers and were in and out all night on the balcony smoking. When out there they talked loudly, slammed the door when coming in to there room. Earlier there were young children in their room until about 11 pm and they were noisy. Then the adults were talking very loud and at 2 a.m. I finally called the main desk. They did ask them to settle and they did at 2:30 a.m. Breakfast, we'll the eggs were taken out from the cooler and still cold, the sausage patties were still cold. The room has been re-done but no bath mat to stand on when getting out of the tub, and who nowadays has the old type of spring s from the 50's under mattresses these days, and it made a lot of noise when moving. My stay was one of the worst, and I have stayed at many hotels in the past

Our first room looked dirty so we changed. The second room was OK but not great! The motel was about what we expected, nothing great but a place to spend the night. We were a little disappointed it was not closer to the Riverfront but that one is on us!! Breakfast was just OK. Could use a little more variety. But we were happy to have it without having to stop somewhere to eat before driving on.
All in all, it was fine for a one night stay. We pretty much got what we expected.
No road noise since I was on the grass side of the building facing away from I-95. There is a little continental breakfast nook, If you want a heavier breakfast or just need a quick hamburger later in the day, Perkins can do the job. It also comes with a room discount if you tell them you are staying at the motel. WiFi works very well
This hotel is a gem. It is a very authentic but also the most American looking hotel I have ever seen, you feel like you are staying in one of those movie motels but instead it is a hotel and they serve fresh popcorn and doughnuts.
Lobby was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Mattress and pillow covers were clean. All lights worked. You get what you were paying for. Do not expect a 5 star hotel. This is a motel, a decent one if you are just looking to sleep. If you have a higher budget, go a look for a hotel.
