It was absolutely amazing to get away and have a amazing woman that was there any time we needed her if u like the old school motels close to anything in bay city I highly recommend this place I can tell u it's better than half the hotel's we were in reach of the museum in Saginaw movie theater it was awesome but like I said if you are judgemental and wanna spend a million dollars this is not the place for you but if you have a free spirit and just want a day away from real world I recommend 💯

We were looking for a "cheap" motel for the night and we certainly got the cheap part. The exterior door to the room had nearly an inch gap around the bottom and would have been a serious issue had it been wintertime in Michigan. Because of the direct entry into the room the noise level was a bit more than one would expect with the lifted truck team reving their engines until well after 1 am. However, it was cheap!
so close to Shiawasse NWR. Very clean and well maintained. An excellent family run non-chain motel. Quiet. Bird watchers should all be aware of this motel.
