Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
This was an OK motel. The room was clean. The lights were idiosyncratic, but functioned. I was entertained by stories told by a staff member who formerly worked at Yellowstone N. P., where she fielded complaints that the bears and bison were "not well trained."
I prefer Mom and Pop motels and The Lodge was amazing!

Breakfast was a VERY LARGE choice of anything you would enjoy and then SOME....you name it, they served it.
I will be returning again!
Rooms were spacious, clean, and well designed, including bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The building is rustic and well maintained. The restaurant is spacious and served an excellent (included) well-laid-out breakfast. There are reasonable quality restaurants nearby. We stayed in 38 different hotels/motels over 45 days and, all things considered, I would say this was the best of them all.
Great Breakfast - one of the best we've had staying at a motel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.
