The location between Rockland, Rockport, and Camden is perfect. It is also great for exploring Owls Head and the mid-coast. For down-time there is the pool, plenty of outdoor areas around the motel, and a fire pit as well. The room has a fun retro feel. At night we heard the bard owls hooting!
I absolutely loved this little motel! The aesthetics,white picket fence with beautiful flowers growing around the grounds. The rooms were good size and very clean. They had a pool but I did not check that out. They have a fire pit in the back yard with chairs to sit and enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was fine. Some interesting features like direct access to the refrigerator. Main complaint would be the small operating space but it worked well despite that. In the room we especially liked that the refrigerator included a freezer area which we find is not included in many other motels we have stayed in.
The view from room & balcony was very nice, , especially the breakfast room, motel conveniently located to get to various sites, loved the geese visiting on back lawn, heated pool was refreshing and relaxing, staff very friendly, accomodating, room very clean, blanket on bed exceptionally soft, very good price, good breakfast, Would definitely stay again.
Very comfortable stay. Peaceful setting with a lush green yard to enjoy with a swing and chairs for sitting outside. This isn't a luxury room but a homey, clean cottage style motel. We were able to actually get some rest. It's an older roadside motel but so handy. Just back your vehicle up to the door and load and unload. It's nice to motels again. The room was spotless.

Nice unpretentious decor - full of sailboats. Easy on the eyes. Great location. I’ve stayed here before (2021). Tried in 2022; but, motel was recovering from a fire.
The breakfast was unbelievable all kinds of food selections one wouldn't expect in a motel and for the price we paid. Guy at check-in recommended a good place for dinner. The room was large with a nice view.
