Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Easy access to highway. Clean, clean, clean room!! People!! You get what you pay for. Saw several reviews complaining that no breakfast. Geez!! Motel 6 model is a place to sleep and get on your way. Front desk staff both checking in and checking out very friendly.
I travel a lot and often stay at Motel 6 properties. The quality varies. Usually they're okay; occasionally I end up in a not-so-good one for a night. The Richmond, Indiana, Motel 6 was one of the best I've ever stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised to find a facility that resembled a mid-range property. My room was clean, nice in every respect, and much larger than I expected. Everything worked.
No breakfast, but good coffee in the morning. (Hey, this is Motel 6), not one of the other big chains). Amenities, i.e. Cracker Barrel, located within walking distance. Had to drive about a half mile to locate cold beer (the only retail sale of cold beer allowed in Indiana is at a liquor store.
Good location near the interstate (I-70) for continuing my adventure.
Good coffee in the morning. Friendly staff.
Price is good in comparison to other motels.
I stay there every year and will continue when I am in the area.
The motel was described well in the reviews - clean and spare. The room is clearly designed for easy cleanup from pet messes - tile floor and plastic chairs. But it was very clean and the hotel desk clerks were friendly and helpful. There was coffee in the AM but no breakfast. There's a Cracker Barrel literally next door for breakfast.
The place is extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and nice. They also refreshed towels and other bathroom supplies like nice motels used to do before places started using environment and colds to excuse the lack of attention to detail.
This motel has been doing renovations, and it's better than it once was. Our room was clean and comfortable. We require a n ADA-accessible room, and it was perfect. The room was large and the bathroom had all of the amenities we needed including a shower chair.
