Looking for a motel?
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

The breakfast was slim. It was granola bars and bananas. They didn't have much coffee and it was not offered in the room. The whole hotel smelled like Marijuana the whole stay. We are a drug free family. They didn't have a pool or a continental breakfast like the site promised they had. The beds were like sleeping on boards. The motel it self was dirty and needed updates and maintenance bad.

The view was very nice of Rapid City. Motel was clean and beds were comfortable. The motel was very easy to find. It is an older hotel but taken care of. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside and visited with the other guests. The vibe was very friendly and relaxed. Road noise was not noticeable. Staff was friendly and professional.

This classic "motel" has been on Skyline Drive for decades and it's as good as it was then. Expect simple rooms with VERY CLEAN (recently replaced) floors and furnishings. Contemporary locks, fair internet, flat TVs. A magnificent view over the Plains and Badlands to the east. And a truly homemade breakfast. It's perfect for access into Rapid City or out to the Black Hills and a great value!
