Was in the area for a continuing ed clinic. Did not stay at the host motel as it was too pricey. Homewood offered more for less and it was within walking distance. Will return yearly when attending the conference.
The manager was very quick to answer my request for an easily accessible room, and made sure to call me the day of my arrival to see when to expect me so that he could "save" me a good room. The room itself is simple, but its great for what I consider a budget motel (I chose it for the location near my son's house, where I was visiting, and for the cost). My room was much larger than expected and very comfortable!
I liked the pleasant staff, free parking, free Siri, comfortable bed, large shower, plenty of hot water for shower and the location being within walking distance of eateries, shops and movie theaters as well as easy freeway access.
